Eddie has been involved in physical activities for most of his life. Raised by his father – a professional bodybuilder – Eddie developed a knowledge of and a sense of pride about the human body at an early age. He put his knowledge to good use in his freshman year of high school when he joined the football team. Eddie also competed in track and field and power lifting.

In 2002 Eddie moved from his home town of Chicago to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida, joining Xtreme at the same time. While studying Marketing at USF, he continued to develop his passion for helping others. Volunteering as the head coach of a Tampa Pee-Wee Football Team is just one of the ways Eddie is sharing his knowledge with others. His desire to help others led him to obtain his Personal Training Certification (NFPT).
