Maui Granola
I eat this as part of my breakfast or as a snack. Great way for that busy professional to snack on the road in a healthy way.

Ingredients:
5 cups rolled oats
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup honey
½ cup safflower oil
½ cup raisins
½ cup pitted dates, sliced
1 cup almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine and bake the oats, wheat germ, honey and safflower oil for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Add the raisins, dates and almonds and bake for 15 minutes. Cool to room temperature and store in an airtight container. Makes enough for about a 1 month supply.
