The Besta Pasta
This particular recipe is simple & healthy - nothing fatty or creamy to mess with your cardiovascular system. Stick with the red sauces & skip the sausage & meatballs. Turkey is a great pinch hitter for fat-laden meats.

Ingredients:
½ onion, chopped
½ TSP olive oil
1-pound ground turkey
1 TSP pepper
1 TSP Mrs. Dash no-salt seasoning
1 jar low-fat marinara sauce
1 box pasta - your choice

Brown the chopped onion in the olive oil in heavy pan. Add the turkey and brown. Season with pepper & Mrs. Dash. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, then add marinara sauce and let simmer again for 15-20 minutes. Cook the pasta as directed on the package. Top with the sauce, serve.
