Hoola
Monster: Special Spring Fling
guest |
| We're delighted to welcome the
Hoola Monster (aka Abby Albaum) to Xtreme on Tuesday, June 10, 7-8 pm as
part of the Spring Fling series. Why hoola? It's a great
core workout, tons of fun and easier than you think. The
new hoops are larger and heavier than those wimpy ones
of yore - they're even called fitness hoops! So join
Abby, Tampa Bay's own HoopGirl extraordinaire, as she
offers this special class to Xtreme members. Space is
limited, so please sign up at the Front Desk. We'll
provide hoops to use and have invited Abby to bring her
custom-made hoops for you to purchase if you're smitten
by the Hoola Monster bug! |

| BODY
ATTACK Master Class a resounding
success! |
|
| Les Mills Master instructor Audrey
Deriso (center in photo) and her talented cohorts (Kelli
and Sylvia) took Xtreme by storm Saturday, April 26 with
their masterful presentation of BODYATTACK. The Les Mills
(organization that brings you BODYPUMP) class is billed
as the sports-inspired cardio workout for building
strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training
class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength
and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and
powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness
goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core
competitor! And at Xtreme, BODYATTACK lived up to
its billing as our members moved, sweated, laughed and
groaned under the high energy guidance of our guest
instructors. If you'd like to see BODYATTACK come to
Xtreme, please let the management know. |

BODYPUMP
65 Launch gets 40 thumbs up! |
| Xtreme's BODYPUMP crew worked even
harder than usual to be the first to bring Xtreme
members the music and choreography of BODYPUMP 65 (April
26). Cindy, Sasha, Warren, Daniella and Natalie (from
left in photo) shared the stage in a masterful team
teaching launch event that left no attendee sweat-free.
It's amazing how far high energy motivation can go
toward helping you being stronger than you ever thought
you could be! If you have never attended a BODYPUMP
class, give it a whirl... |

Xtravaganza raises dollars, awareness for Children's
Cancer Center |
| Xtreme's owner Joe Redner (photo)
took his annual dunking to help raise money for Tampa's
Children Cancer Center at April's Xtreme Xtravaganza
fundraising event. But Mr. Redner was the only one who
landed on his well-suited derriere. While the children
had a blast knocking him off his perch, their parents
and Xtreme members were bidding silently on some
fantastic auction items. As of press time, the event had
raised more than $9,000 for the Children's Cancer
Center. Xtreme management and the Children's Cancer
Center extend a sincere thank-you for the thoughtful
gifts! And there's still time to contribute - ask the
Xtreme Front Desk how you can fly the kite even
higher! |
