Chisel (aka Core Power)
There’s more to your torso than abs. Chisel is a sensational 30-minute class integrating all the core muscles (abs, back, chest, plus hips and shoulders) to tone and strengthen your heart and soul. Each instructor brings a unique angle to the class, resulting in a sharp-edged Chisel you can count on. The class uses a variety of tools and ground-breaking exercises to get you on your way to a six-pack – inside and out!

Happy Hour Yoga
De-stress from the week’s workplace woes without spending a lot of money at the bar! We use classic Yoga moves and concepts to “work out” the stress and leave the body refreshed and ready for the weekend. And no hangovers means even less stress!
Kardio KickBoxing
This high intensity workout focuses on all the major muscle groups by incorporating varied kickboxing moves. You can burn tons of calories and increase your flexibility with this action-packed cardio workout.
Kick-Butt Boot Camp

This classic Pilates class taught by one of the country’s best Pilates practitioners attracts everyone from the mellow fitness practitioner to the hardcore athlete. It is a wonderful presentation of one of the fastest-growing fitness trends of the decade. Join Melanie to learn why.
PiYo™
PiYo is an athletic fusion style of strength and flexibility mat class. It combines Pilates, yoga, dance, and strength in a flowing sequence designed for those who like to move with grace and power. PiYo is a physical journey and allows the instructor to transform this mind body class into a masterpiece that suits the individual style of their students as well as their own unique preferences. Instructor Amy is a certified Master of PiYo who’s turned this class time into a not-to-be-missed experience (now offered twice weekly).
Running Fist Mixed Martial Arts
By incorporating elements from other martial arts, Running Fist Kung Fu creates a balanced system that conforms to the practitioner. Contributing styles include Jiujitsu, Karate, Judo and Tae Kwan Do. Training enhances your physical ability - flexibility, strength and speed - and your mental ability. Step – Advanced and Beginning classes offered
This highly choreographed workout takes place on-and-off a step platform. You’ll work hard and have fun, burning calories and improving endurance and coordination. Over the years, step choreography has become extremely complex, meeting the growing skills of our members who share a strong step background. To make this ideal group exercise class accessible to all fitness levels, Xtreme offers a Start to Step class on the third Sunday of each month. Join us for both levels and learn why Step has hung on through so many flash-in-a-pan fitness trends.
SPINNING® (indoor cycling)
Ride with best! Strong and varied teachers focus on your success as a cyclist. Spin and sweat to the sounds of hip-hop, the latest pop, oldies and more. Spinning can burn from 400-650 calories in 45 minutes if you work to your max – and your heart and legs will be stronger for it. All levels welcome. Watch for our introductory and recovery classes coming in January 2008.
NEW! Begin to SPIN® (includes Recovery and Fat-Burning zones)
This is the perfect Spinning selection not only for novices, but also for athletes looking for an active recovery day and people in search of a solid fat-burning workout. The zones (intensity levels) are basically the same – the approaches differ just enough that all three variations superbly mesh for one integrated class. Newcomers will learn how to set up the bike and riding basics (such as movements, positioning and language) – everything you need to remove the intimidation factor and enable you to enjoy one of the best workouts in the world! Experienced riders can close their ears and eyes to the lesson and zone out (or in) to the music and the experience: Recover and burn fat at the same time. Offered three times a month: First and third Tuesdays, 6:30-7:15 pm, and second Saturday, 10-10:45 am.
NEW! TAIL-SPIN with Matt
We’ve added a special “ending” to Saturday’s 9 am SPINNING class – designed to take care of your own tails! 30 minutes of the Spinning you’ve come to love with Matt, ending with 30 minutes (off the bike) devoted to glutes and legs. Drag your bike-warm-butts to the Boxing Center for a bottom-loaded workout that will have you in a TAIL-SPIN.
NEW! Yoga Flow with Chay(Tues/Thursday mornings)
Students are guided through a series of postures linked together creatively, maintaining an awareness of their breath while moving through smooth transitions. This flow practice is geared towards students who are familiar with basic yoga postures and in good health. Some advanced poses and movements may be introduced. Teacher may draw from various kinds of contemporary music.
Flow Yoga (Beginning/Intermediate levels, offered Sunday evenings)
Stretch and strengthen, learn correct alignment, use breath to deepen flexibility, relax tight muscles, prevent injuries, cross training for weight lifters, runners, golfers and all sports. This 90-minute class incorporates sun salutations, standing and balance poses, challenging ab and additional floor work for beginning to intermediate students. Choreographed as a movement flow punctuated by held postures.
Zumba™
Movement, style, exhilaration, Latin-dance inspired fitness with hot (hot, hot!) instructors! Dig into a little salsa, mambo, cha-cha and more for a fun workout that doesn’t even seem like you’re working! You don’t have to be coordinated to do this class – really!
